The Town Council election scheduled for 4/29/25 has been cancelled. The following candidates will be filling the three (3) open seats: Nick Smith, William Carrow, and Adrienne Miller
The Town Office will be closed on Friday, April 18, 2025, in observance of Good Friday. The Town Office will re-open on Monday, April 21, 2025, at 8:00 a.m.
There will be a Public Workshop on March 25, 2025, from 5-7 pm at the Clayton Fire Hall.

The Town of Clayton is a State of Delaware municipality situated mostly within Kent County, with some parts of its incorporated area within New Castle County. With recent annexations, the Town is approximately 2 miles by 1 ½ miles in size. A larger unincorporated area south of Townsend, west of Smyrna and north of Hartly, Delaware is also referred to as Clayton, but is not served by the municipality.
