Welcome

Welcome to the Town of Clayton!  To assist you in getting settled into your new home, we've provided a brief listing of some key things you need to do to register with the Town.

Utility Deposit

Homeowners will be required to make a $125 utility deposit payable to the Town of Clayton. 
$100 refundable utility deposit
$25 non-refundable connection fee

Renters will be required to make a $250 utility deposit payable to the Town of Clayton.

$225 refundable utility deposit
$25 non-refundable connection fee

This is required in order to receive electric, trash, and sewer service.

Utility Deposit Form

You are required to fill out a Utility Deposit Form.  Proof of ID is required.  When you submit your completed application with your utility deposit to Town Hall, you will receive a Welcome Packet.  The Utility Deposit Form is used to set up your account into our billing system.

Trash Services

You trash and recycle bins are provided through GFL Environmental Services. Your trash service is billed through the Town of Clayton.
Trash is collected on Friday
Recycle collected on Thursday
Please set out your trash containers the night before your scheduled pick up after 7:00 p.m.

Mail Delivery

The new developments in the Town of Clayton have mail delivery.  The old sections of Town do not have mail delivery.  If you live within the older sections of Town, you will need to obtain a post office box and inform the Billing Department at the Town of Clayton of your new post office box number to receive your monthly utility billing.
