Qualifications to file for Council are: Any person at least 21 years of age who for a period of at least 15 years immediately preceding his/her election has not been convicted of a felony as that crime is designated by the State of Delaware, and who is a bona fide domiciliary of the Town. Absentee ballots may be picked up at the Town Office no later than 12:00 noon on of the day prior to the election. All ballots must be returned no later than the hour of closing of the polls on said municipal Election Day. Candidacy Form
The Town of Clayton Election shall be held in the Town Office on Tuesday, April 27, 2010 between the hours of 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.
Notice of Election
For seniors over the age of 65 you could qualify for a tax exemption with the Town of Clayton. The deadline for tax year 2010 is April 1. Please review the attached form for details.

You are welcomed to submit your "sealed" bid for a 1995 Tennant 830 street sweeper. Bids will be opened on Monday, April 12, 2010. See attached for details.

The Town of Clayton town-wide yard sale will be Saturday, April 17, 2010 from 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Rain date will be April 24, 2010.

In order to qualify as a participant, the honoree must have served or are currently serving in the U.S. Armed Forces and a resident in the Smyrna/Clayton area or an immediate family member of a resident in the Smyrna/Clayton area. Drop off or send the completed form along with a photo of the honoree in military dress to: Town of Clayton, P.O. Box 1130, Clayton, DE 19938-1130 ATTN: Sue Muncey. Click on E-Forms on the left of the home page and select the form you wish to complete. Once sumbitted it is sent to the Town Office and checked daily during working hours.
